Berlin-Schöneberg's gay anti-violence project Maneo was attacked once more. This is a sad and deeply concerning incident.

Maneo is an important Berlin organization. It helps LGBTQ+ people who experience violence. The project operates in Schöneberg district. This area is known as a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community.

The attack occurred on a Monday. Attackers apparently acted from queer-hostile motives. This means: They attacked because they reject or hate queer people.

This is not Maneo's first attack. The word "again" shows: Such attacks unfortunately happen repeatedly. This clearly indicates growing queer-hostility in the city.

Queer-hostility means: People face harassment or attacks for being gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. Such attacks are punishable under German law.

Berlin is considered one of the world's most open cities for LGBTQ+ people. Yet violence and discrimination exist here too. Organizations like Maneo are therefore very important. They offer counseling and support for victims.

This renewed attack demonstrates: Protection for LGBTQ+ facilities must improve. Politicians must act decisively now. Queer-hostile violence cannot be tolerated.

Berlin's LGBTQ+ community shows solidarity with Maneo. Many people demand more protection for queer projects and facilities. The fight against queer-hostile violence continues.
